Last 5 videos of my Higher Anorithil run have been uploaded into my YouTube Channel and added into the appropriate Playlist. Hooray!

So with that all done it will soon be time to run back into doing some Roguelike runs. I've mentioned this sparingly but I plan to do an Undead only Playlist where I only use the Skeleton and the Ghoul. Initial plans for the playlist include running one Ghoul Necromancer and then I plan to run a Skeleton Brawler after that.

Plans end there though, I don't have any plans for what to play after those who combinations. So, as I put it in one of my videos I put it here: What Classes would you like to see played with the Ghoul/Skeletons after I get the two initial runs out of the way?

Videos for the Undead runs should start sometime soon - though I plan on doing a lot of GDI Missions in C&C Tiberian Dawn since I put that off long enough.

1) Melee mindslayer.

These guys are fun. I'm currently playing a dwarf at level 27 who, according to the character sheet, already outdamages my 41 level cursed with gaping maw who is clearing prides. And this is with 3/5 conduit and similar or smaller investment in auras, not maxing weapon skills (yet) and without any investment in finer energy manipulations (yet) to improve weapons.

And BTW you have 900 point invulnerability damage shields. and -4 hp. Which leads to hilarious OH SHIT situations if/when you screw up with you shields. The audience will be entertained.

2) Cornac marauder.

Get quickly to level 30. Pick windblade (and later giant leap). Watch how you do 15 K damage in ambush. The audience will learn what "mobility" means on a melee fighter.

3) Rogue stealth build.

I've never gotten far with this one but om nom damage is on the horizon if you get in to midgame. The audience will learn that it sucks to get assasinated.

X) Joker option: Pick random.

You probably get something you don't like (if you have any preferences, that is). Then entertain the audience by plodding through with a character you hate.

Well, I was pondering to do a bunch of non-undead roguelike runs after my undead roguelike runs, so I won't say I can't use your suggestions.

But do you have any undead class suggestions?

You could try a ghoul paradox mage, some of the PM talents alleviate ghoul's shortcomings, and PM's are really fun .

Ghoul necro is laughably fun, and skeleton archer has some good synergy.

Ghoul Necromancer will be first on the list of runs, Haven't done a Paradox Mage though, so I guess that's another good candidate combo to go for. Anyhow, thoughts so far (for the near future):

Figured I'll also note that I'm not really interesting in doing a Rogue or Stealth build - one because I currently have a level 50 Halfling Rogue who is sitting outside Sanctum atm, but two is because I have already played both a Rogue in my videos. I've done Archer in one of my earlier playlists and I hate the playstyle so probably not going to bother with that either.

Random might be an option but it would be a while down the road (most likely after these two playlists too I'm going to move on to do a few more other different roguelikes from ToME to add some more variety to my channel too).

I'll note also that at this time there are a few classes I have yet to play that I have only unlocked. Those are:

Brawler (Planned to play with Skeleton)
Marauder (Planned to play with Cornac)
Necromancer (Planned to play with Ghoul)
Paradox Mage (Planned to play with Ghoul)
Mindslayer (Planned to play with Thaloran)

Oozemancer (Have yet to plan to play)

I won't say that I have to play the above with all the classes that I've yet to play, but I'm more partial to planning to play them as I haven't played them yet.

Yet you haven't used sunburst even once to get rid of that magical darkness during final encounter in that run...

A Wild DavionFuxa Let's Play Appears!

I have begun the run of the Ghoul Necromancer Normal Roguelike and uploaded the first 4 episodes of the run (him starting out and getting through the starter stuff). Have some more episodes which I'll upload later when I have them compressed and ready to go.

So begins the rise of my Undead Playlist.

Figured I'd note that the Ghoul Necromancer has been played, it's episodes have been compressed, and by sometime tonight my YouTube Channel will have all the videos of the run uploaded. Have to say it lasted a long time - far longer then any of my previously recorded Roguelikes. Can't say I'm unhappy it died though as I'm really doing these runs in Roguelike difficulty for the simple fact of just quickly demonstrating how the class works and then dying off naturally.

Also of note is that I started the Skeleton Brawler which was next in the list... though it has also been concluded. Run lasted for or less the amount of time I expected it too since I'm new with using Undead - though I will say that I wish it hadn't died as quickly.

Ghoul Paradox Mage will be started sometime in the future, and then likely another Skeleton run.

To make a note, I still have yet to get a combination set out for the Skeleton run after the Paradox Mage and I'm taking any suggestion for a class to run with the skeleton - barring Archers, Reavers, Berserkers, or Anorithils. Additional note is that if Sun Paladins, Corrupters, Doomed, or Solispsist are fun candidates to couple with Skeletons from your playing experience, then I'm all for playing them as I've yet to play those classes and don't have any plans for future Let's Plays with them yet.

So, been a while since I made a note here - but that's due to the fact that I hadn't uploaded anything until last night and tonight.

The Skeleton Brawler videos have been uploaded to my YouTube channel, and all can see the short run that ends up horribly against a Wolf Guardian Bulwark from the Ruined Dungeon (horray for a Rare using a different class then I would expect killing me, killing me!). I've also begun uploading the start of my Ghoul Paradox Mage run, which I restarted once (during the Blighted Ruins episode) and have mostly followed a different path with in terms of how I visit dungeons.

I'll note that if PureQuestion is still watching he perhaps might get another Anti-Magic/Magic Chuckle at the end of the Second /start of Third Episodes (and the Fifth for that matter where I run into a comical Oozemancer, though that episode is currently not going to be uploaded until next wee).

Outside of all the uploading then, I feel that it's come time to announce a few things - TheThing, you should listen up the most since you asked a question sort of pertaining part of the announcements:

I've reached the point where I probably have perhaps more videos on Tales of Maj'Eyal then any other player of this game. For the most part I hope that I have drawn a few players to play it but I think it's getting to the point where I should move on to other Roguelikes to play. So at this point I've more or less planned out the rest of the runs I plan to do for ToME.

For my Undead Playlist that I have on the go, I plan to play at least two Ghoul characters and two Skeleton characters. One of the Ghoul and One of the Skeleton characters have been played, with the current Ghoul Paradox Mage above in play. The next character which will be played after my Ghoul Paradox Mage will be a Skeleton Sun Paladin.

After the completion of the Undead Playlist, I plan to make a Playlist which more or less includes 1 run with every Non-Undead Race for which I haven't played through the entire game with (So 1 Character run with a Thaloran, a Cornac, a Dwarf, a Yeek, and a Halfling). Unlike all my previous runs which have been in Normal Roguelike Difficulty with a few in Normal Adventurer - these runs will all my in Nightmare Adventurer and for the most part I'll be running the difficulty blind (Never been in this difficulty so assume I will die; multiple times due to having multiple lives!)

The Combinations I've selected then for the Non-Undead Races in Nightmare will be:

  Cornac Marauder
  Dwarf Corrupter
  Yeek Solispsist
  Halfling Doomed

On the assumption that the Skeleton Sun Paladin in the Undead playlist last more then 5-6 episodes, it will definitively be the final Undead character for my Undead Playlist - though I'll note that should my Skeleton Sun Paladin character die as quick as the Skeleton Brawler I played, I'll take one of the classes from the Non-Undead list above to play with on a third Skeleton Character, and replace the chosen class on the Non-Undead with Oozemancer.

In any case, more or less the current ToME Playlist and the one following will likely be my Last Playlists for Tales of Maj'Eyal that I will be doing - at least till the Orc Campaign.

Figured I'd drop a note that I've uploaded up to the most current episode of the Ghoul Paradox Mage run. For the most part the first 10 episodes sum up my adventures pre-Dreadfall.

Goals then are to avenge myself against Urkis, kill the Master, and perhaps survive to go East.
