Hello,
This is my first playthough of the game past level 10 (I unlocked the necromancer by setting a variable to true in a config file, I don't know if that caused the problem) and I got the quest storming the city, so I went to... Derth ??? anyways, I started fighting the elementals and I took one as a minion with that spell that, if it brings the minion low enough it makes it your pet, after I cleared the area nothing happened, I checked the wiki and a villager is supposed to come and tell me to go and do stuff, but nothing happens, I cast the spell again to release the pet and went to the map and back again , and again no villager.
I don't know if the whole pet thing broke the quest , or if I did something wrong, is this a known issue? did I do something that I shouldn't have done?

I'm not sure of the details, but Husking seems to break a lot of "kill them to advance" requirements.

Oh so I guess I should start over? damn, and I was doing so well.
Oh well, halfling necromancer it is then

Storming the city quest chain is not mandatory. Pretty much all you're missing is one dungeon level with a boss.
Stronk is a potent combatant with a terrifying appearance.

It can also break Melinda's quest if you husk one of the guys overseeing the sacrifice.

Good thing you can't Husk bosses, then. That could get... messy.
Re: Necromancer breaks Storming the city
Dominant will used to have a ton of bugs like this, but eventually got sorted out. Might want t look at what its code does to ensure that charmed mobs still count as "killed."
Re: Necromancer breaks Storming the city
AFAIK, death hook triggers for husks if you kill them yourself afterwards.
