Briagh's lair missing

Ok, so I took an older save file and started playing with 1.1.5. Most everything was going well, until I got the character to the east. After talking with Zemmeksys a second time, he highlighted what appears to be an empty spot in the desert.

Is there any way to force a redraw of the world map, by deleting level files or something like that?
