[1.1.5] Daikara Vault Unreachable
This giant vault in the Daikara generated without any paths leading to it. Since the walls are unbreakable, there is no way to reach it.

The is a way in, but you need to enter from the south.

No. I explored the entire map. If you look at the second image in the album, you'll see that where there should be an entrance to the vault area, there is instead a dead end corridor.

Even if digging is not possible, unreachable places like that can generally be reached with a phase door (rune, item, talent...), unless it is a vault. In the south, there is probably a position close enough to an open space and within 4 or 5 phase door tries you will be able to go there. In the rogue tunnel, it happens frequently to have unconnected areas that can only be reached this way as the walls are undiggable.

I appreciate the attempted help, but I'm not looking for help. I can't dig in from the south. I tried. The walls are un-diggable. It is a vault, so it can't be teleported into. I attempted phase dooring a number of times from the south end; it doesn't appear that there is any open space next to the vault for that to work. But the point is, the level generated in a way it shouldn't have. Tis' a bug, not a feature, and this is reporting it.

I've had those before too and they are frustrating, but if you look again I'm sure you'll be able to find a diggable spot. You may have to tunnel a ways to find it, but its there. Basically you have to excavate around the entire vault to find the door.

I have seen this bug also. Daikara has enough undiggable mountains that there can actually be no possible way into the vault, by digging or otherwise. It's also possible for this vault to block off the exit so that you can't even reach the next level.
This appears to be related to a similar bug that can cause 2 vaults to be created right next to each other so they block each other's entrances. I haven't been able to track down the source of this bug, though.

Its not a bug, its sensibly placed to stop adventurers pludering giant's villages.

I've had that happen to me too. In Dreadfell it's pretty common but in there the vault is diggable.
In Daikara you can't dig due to unbreakable walls. The vault in questions looks really much like a non-vault (as in no locked door) but a giant village.
In order to tele in you need to move 4 squares east, so that your char is positioned right in the middle of the pillars inside the room. From there the door is 7 or 8 squares south. Below it should be at least 10 empty squares you can tele in.
Sometimes, rarely though, some enemies can spawn in that open area but if you target a square 12 squares south of the designated position there should be at least 3 squares of free space on every direction you should be able to target a tele in few tries.
