The apprentice to get into the magic city is hostile.

For some reason the apprentice guy you're supposed to give an item to to get into the magic city is showing as hostile on my world map.
Why?

I'm not with the zigur or anything.

Well, I went into town and back out to see if he'd fix, and he's gone completely now.
Guess I'm screwed for getting in the city.

IIRC, this happens if you either you are antimagic or you are undead and do not wear the proper cloak.

Yeah, just realized I didn't have the cloak on.
But I thought I bought the thing from the fortress where I didn't need the cloak anymore.
