every time I try to buy/make a misc item my game freezes and I have to exit

I've heard someone in chat say that the problem may be due to Antimagic characters trying to buy a Misc item, only to have the game attempt to figure out how to make a non-Arcane Wand and explode.

I'm having the same trouble (exactly when choosing the 'misc' type) with my oozemancer, so he's antimagic too

Same problem here. Yeek Oozemancer, so still antimagic.

Same, AM/Solipsist. Didn't see this topic and thought it was just me (reinstalled ToME, backup/deleted appdata, etc). Still freezes every time and have to kill process.
