I got the bundle, will GamersGate people be getting steam keys? I'm fine either way, but it'd be nice to know. Congrats on the Greenlight btw.

Re: Tales of Maj'Eyal in the IndieFort bundle!
Just a quick question.
I tried out Maj'Eyal back at release of 1.0.0, but bought it in the indiefort bundle today - however, the gamersgate version doesn't seem to include a launcher, so unless the GG version has been updated to 1.0.5 (page still lists 1.0.4), how do I go about updating?
I downloaded the normal 1.0.5 version from the Tales site, but on that I no longer seem to have access to the Stone Wardens class, is this intended or should I wait until the GG version is updated?

One last question: Do you know when it's going to be released on steam? Or can you release that info yet? Cuz' I was making a little early game guide to put up on steam, and it only has one part to be finished that I've been putting off. Wanna know how much longer I can put it off before release. :p
Re: Tales of Maj'Eyal in the IndieFort bundle!
We are working hard to make it to steam ASAP
Currently achievements are being draw; the code to integrate with steam is done for login, screenshots and achievements; however on windows there is a weird bug :/
KPJZKC: GG should have given you a key, which you can use on http://te4.org/key-redeem to enabled your account to work with the version from te4.org

Thanks dark, that worked perfectly, I had assumed entering the key into the executable the first time it was run had tied it to my account, so missed that part of the site completely!darkgod wrote: KPJZKC: GG should have given you a key, which you can use on http://te4.org/key-redeem to enabled your account to work with the version from te4.org
Game is really fantastic and I hope that the GG deal has brought a lot of interest to it!

Are any of the other games in the bundle decent? I still haven't gotten around to trying them yet... hoping for more thinky things like ToME or And Yet it Moves, less twitchy things like Legend of Dungeon or Cortex Command which I got in other bundles.

Heroes of a Broken Land is a RPG similar to Legends of Grimrock in terms of gameplay. It has some base building mechanics, but they're light. I think it's a fun RPG. It's beta right now, and the Dev is pretty responsive.grooog wrote:Are any of the other games in the bundle decent? Call Center is a business Sim, more similar to the Kairosoft games like Game Dev Story. I thought it was a decent game, though I haven't spent too much time in it.
Masterspace is supposed to be a sandbox game similar to Minecraft. It's alpha right now, and in-game information is sparse and I didn't really see enough in-game that would justify looking into it more. Overall, it's concept has promise, but unless you specifically want to support their devs, I'd hold off on this game for now. Plus it's a bit buggy.
'No Time to Explain' is a platformer game(with some bosses) that uses the momentum generated from firing your gun in order to navigate the environment. It's fun, and has lots of humor, though it was a bit corny for my taste. The game isn't optimized very well though.
Overall, I think that ToME and Heroes of a Broken Land are the highlights of the bundle, and fit your 'thinky' preference. Call Center too if you're into Business Sims.
Edit: Spelling.
