Hm, I've run through the draconian files and indeed the introduction is admitably ok. Maybe the text in the "\data\lore\draconian_lore.lua"

Code: Select all

newLore{
	id = "diary-draconian",
	category = "misc",
	name = "Ancient Teeth",
	lore = [[As you pickup the necklace of dragon teeth you are filled with knowledge.

	Your family's ancesters were used in experiments with dragons and those latent abilities
	are the reason for your power.
]],
	on_learn = check,
}
is too condensed for my taste? Thoughts? (Also, there are two typos in it)

If no one else is doing it, I am going to add dragon choices and possibly new flavours for Nullpack classes!

Choices are already on the todo list. There are some unfinished ideas for forms in the notes for the paradox classes, at least one of which would well suit heavy. That said, I did ask doctornull for input on what forms would suit his nullpack classes, and not be unbalanced, but haven't yet received an answer.

I've begun working on my own split version of the draconian addon in order to finish it and to continue to provide you guys with new content. You can continue to get the 'pure' Ajfluffy version of the addon here as Crim, The Red Thunder is getting it around for ToME version 1.0.5.

I'll be releasing the first version of my NeoDraconian mod as soon as ToME version 1.0.5 comes out.
You can view the forum topic and eventual download link here: http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=5 ... 10#p164510

New version of the existing draconian addon is now up, forum thread can be found here. Please report all relevant bugs/issues/comments there.

May AJFluffy find his way back, and take the reins from me again, and soon. In the meantime, I'll do what I can to keep it working/fix bugs.

Thankee, Crim!

I have received word from ajfluffy just a few days ago and most probably he won't have the time and means for addon work for at least a couple of months. So, I still stand with my decision/plea for forking of the addon and when he comes back, we'll sort the "what goes where" part :). In the meantime I wouldn't want to miss playable Draconians for the current ToME versions.

Remind me to dig through my archives for *moar* Draconian visuals when I'm done with the steam madness :)

Knowing that he might come back is a GREAT thing indeed. I am overjoyed to here that this is even a possibility. I freely and completely relinquish all control over any of my work here and now at any time he should return, for him to use or dismiss as he pleases.

*prays* For the love of all that is both Holy and Unholy, and all gods both real and imagined, Let him come back!

really like where this is going, the visuals look pretty damn good, hoping I get to read/draft the lore because I love dracons, and AJfluffy joins development credit because the great start continues.
