The class guides in the Spoilers forum tend to be awesome, but they also tend to become out of date as time goes by. An out-of-date guide is still really useful, but it'd be even MORE useful if corrections could be made to a guide as the game changes over time.
Using the Wiki is an obvious solution, since changes are tracked and the author (or someone else) can fix the bits of a guide which go obsolete over time.
Thoughts?

Shut up and take my money!
I mean, that is what Wikis are for, do it already.

My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

While i see your point, i can also see 2 potential issues
1. It'll be dislocated from the forums hence prehaps less debate about it
2. Some people would to a larger degree consider the way the guide says the 'one right way' ... not all the guides are equally good at explaining the different potential paths to take with the classes

Both options are good, so do both. Let people make a thread for their guide then copy them once they get some feedback, I know the one I wrote improved a lot thanks to people giving input in the thread. You should probably PM authors for their permission to use their work though (Anyone who wants to has mine for the mindslayer guide).

Yeah, the Alchemist guide I wrote can go wherever with whatever modifications keep it up to date, just give my name in the credits is all I ask. I don't play ToME much these days so I have no idea what needs updating.

Re: Class Guides: move them to the Wiki?
Okay, sounds like there needs to be a very prominent link back to the original thread, for both credit and discussion.
I'm hesitant to put an owner's name on every guide, though... that would just discourage new people from updating the guide in the future, which defeats the primary purpose of putting them on the wiki. The cycle I want to see is:
- Reading (wiki)
- Discussion (thread)
- Updates (wiki)
If people want to know who to thank, they can look at the thread. Which they should do anyway, since the wiki page is just going to be a compilation of the thread's contents.
Any objections, or does this sound okay?

Yeah, just have an "original guide" link and then an updatable version on the wiki.
