Show rares/randbosses classes.
Having some way to determine rares/randbosses classes without examining their talents (like showing in it tooltip) would be very convenient.
Re: Show rares/randbosses classes.
Debug mode does this already.
I'm still not sure what objection there is to adding it as a normal feature.

Re: Show rares/randbosses classes.
Adding this as a normal feature would make it inconsistent with normal (fixed) bosses that don't usually have a class. I think the idea is to provide the same information for all types of NPC's.
Re: Show rares/randbosses classes.
I don't think there's a real risk of any remotely experienced player getting confused by that.
Enemies already clearly do not follow standard class structure(See Vor and Urkis, for some of the most obvious examples).
It could confuse a newbie a little, but so too could many elements of the system's enemy-information-heavy design.
ToME's a game of information, and not having to rummage every enemy that has no visible sustains to see if they're a Paradox Mage or a Marauder would be kinda nice.

Oh, I agree. When playing, I almost automatically figure out what classes random NPCs have based on their sustains. I was just pointing out why I think it works this way.

Re: Show rares/randbosses classes.
Some bosses have class names as titles (i.e. "Brotoq the Reaver").
I don't think it would be confusing to show class names for bosses, or Adventurer if they have no particular class.
