Could you add a stun effect to the razer breath attack or is that too OP.

Stun is tough to balance, i was planning on a melee type that focused on Stuns but am struggling on how to balance it.

My plans are to work on bulwark, sun paladin, and then brawler unique types since I don't want to forget what I had planned.

Glitches with other game modes aside, I want to drop some words of encouragement. This is a great idea (Draconians have been some of my favorite races in roguelikes past), and you've churned out a significant amount of work in a short time. And overall, relatively glitchfree to date. I hope you'll continue to maintain this for some time to come yet.
(Stun based would be awesome for brawlers... Iron dragon? C'mon, you know you want to shout IRON FIST as you slam your fist/claw/thing into someone's gut...

Yes but brawlers already get a couple of Stuns don't they? Avoiding perm stun lock is the main issue I've run into.

Rex will tell you I'm a perfectionist so I've been holding back some things heh. We've got some big plans for the future and some of the stuff hasn't been done before in tome which should be fun

Well, if anyone can get that fourth 'rare' type of dragon randomly chosen from anything, then theoretically, anything could get it. And stunlock is already possible in a few classes as is. Getting on something with multiple stuns would be rare but possible anyway. Brawler is already one of the squishier, in-need-of-a-buff classes as well, so an extra stun or 2 likely wouldn't overpower them. That said, I don't think they would have enough to hit the level of totally stunlocking something off your form, but not having seen it yet, I can't be definitive on that. You could always offer Daze to some of it's talents instead (Stun's baby cousin), it offers the same protection by keeping it out of a fight, if you daze it and then step away, or go fight something else. Would fit with a sort of 'impact' theme, which fits for brawlers. Could also go the knockback route as well. All of these offer some kind of mitigation to melee enemies. Daze em and step back and laugh, stun em and reduce damage, knock em away and heal as they have to walk back to you... And it all fits into a nice theme. Going pure stun would be a bit harder to balance, but the choice is always yours.

Adventurers put aside, most of these special ones will be exclusive to one or two subclasses

Actually, that's not a half bad idea. Other problem with Stuns is that most high end npcs are at least partly resistant to it. I may need to make a second brawler type or something heh.

You could also look at something that would buff there physical damage with claws instead of simple gloves. (Or perhaps, make all there attacks cause an extra bleed. But maybe your razor type already does that?) Allowing claws to make better barehand combat was something classic Tome did with possessors. (Since many bodies couldn't wield weapons, they get innate bonuses from there body, dragons among them)

Yup already does that heh. I use the physical/bleed damage type for the melee hits and the wave effect is pure bleed.

In my haste, I managed to forget to drop talent icons in for the razor type lol. Well that's mighty embarrassing....

Alright, in addition to the Arena/ID problem, I just beat norgos in campaign with a rogue draconian. Picked up loot, including rod. Did not receive a dragon form. Thoughts?
EDIT: Alright, Cleared all my tier 1 dungeons, hit level 8, no dragon. No choices. Standard campaign, one version behind current, the addons Infinite500, Arcanum classpack, optin adventurers, and draconians are enabled. No idea what is wrong. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Well stuns improve the damage of a few of the werebeast's skills. Anyway in terms of effect I think it would be good as an additional effect (with a save of cource) for the mobs flicking/inpain/etc from the attack
.

It's on an use ability to the necklace, i thought that the dialog was a bit much window spam when you killed prox.

Crim, in the last versions the transformation (with the dialogue) should be triggered by /picking up the special draconian artefact from the first boss kill/ (not at hitting lvl8 as it was before). As I'm quite ignorant on the code side of things, I can only suspect some weird addon inconsistencies. Will have to wait for ajfluffy to do the checks.
