If that's true, then bow's usefulness is pretty moot compared to the power of stealthy sling + shield.

Yeah, pretty much the exact conclusion I came up with. Plus you could grab the poison tree, for some nice effects on things that don't die from the initial stealth barrage.

You could also go mindpower instead and just grab Punishments or Force of Will. Perhaps some oozemancer stuff to go with poisons...
