[1.0.4] Duplicate Character on High Peak 8

I was fighting a floor boss on High Peak which fearscaped me, and when I reappeared after killing it there was another me where the boss died. Which happened to be on the stairs up. I can't leave the level through any other means (due to being on High Peak), and the game thinks of the other me as me, so I can't kill it without dying myself. Whenever I attempt to attack or target an ability on the square it occupies it targets myself, so I cannot switch places with (or kill) it.
I do not know which files to attach, but I will provide them as needed.
[this was going to be my first win, on the other hand, it is pretty funny]

Can you just use the stairs regardless? Do you have any of the mobility abilities like [duh] switch places? Can we see a character dump?

I do not know what you mean by "switch places". I have tried using "L" and other targeted abilities on the clone. Whenever I move the target to the clone (manually, since the game does not seem to recognize the clone as a viable target) the targeted square moves to me. I do not know what you mean by a character dump per se, but I can link you to the online character file.

when I refer to the stairs up, due to the fact that I am on the high peak, they are the only stairs, and the rod is unusable.
There is another odd effect I have noticed: when I am able to see my other self, when I move, for an instant my graphic glitches and "blinks" towards the other me, before settling on the square I move to. As I am unsure what to upload, I have attached a screenshot. In the screenshot I am looking at the square occupied by the other me.

Do knockback/forced movement skills like Maelstrom etc. work? I've had mixed success with those on clones.

If all else fails, there are instructions in the wiki on how to enable debug mode. Does screw up the legitimacy of the run, sadly, but all things considered, it's probably better than entirely tossing your first clear. :(

Thank you all for your help. Unfortunately all my knockback/forced movement skills are from my distortion tree, and having five ranks in bolt means that I can't hit my clone with them. I will attempt to use the debug mode, I don't really mind the loss of legitimacy (I'll know it was legit, and that is all that really matters in the end).
