Ultimate Strategy Guide

#1 Post by TheronGodspeed »

I NEVER purchase strategy guides for video games. You know the, Brady guides, etc...

Anyway, for this game, I would easily/happily purchase a comprehensive physical copy.

Just a thought, and probably a dumb one... :)

Not really. A few people including myself were working on a comprehensive one about a year ago, however the game has drastically changed and has many more ways to play/die/build/explore and as such, it is not really useful anymore. If you would like to help in restarting the project, the more the faster it gets done!

Not an original quote by no means, and certainly not about ToME. I've found it holds true for pretty much all roguelikes though. Best of luck.

Best way to learn in ToME is to die. A lot.

Apart from that I suggest asking about stuff on the chat and checking out the class guide part of the forums.

Always try something yourself before asking others.
That way, the answers you get make much more sense.
(and you don't ask as many silly questions.)
My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.
