Chat Bug: In-Game chat not updating after a few mins

[Psomm]

1. I'll log in, load up a game and the chat will appear (the scrolling chat at the bottom right of the UI). (note this is not a FADE problem)
2. I'll see it for awhile (3-10 minutes) then it will randomly stop updating.
3. I will not see any new/recent messages. I can still hit space and type something and I won't see it in-game... BUT I do see it in from the website's real-time current in-game chat log.

This happens on both of my PC's - a windows 7 and an XP, so I can't imagine it's something only I experience. Regardless, it's nice to see the chat and I hope there's a fix.
