i used to play tome on lubuntu and it worked alright...

Is wilful strikes ever worth it? Seems to me if you have momentum it's a waste since it uses ~25 stamina (and you could keep momentum running for another 4 turns in other words for its cost, and you're likely to cause more damage with 4 turns of regular hits... right?)

If gravity pulls stuff together, how come everything isn't in one big lump?

If you mean Willful Combat, sure. Not all rogues go dual-weapon, and even among the dual-weapon ones, not all of them use momentum. And if you're investing heavily in Cunning anyway, it's certainly worth a point. Especially if you happened to want Snap.

It is in one big lump. That big lump just happens to contain spaces.

If you're asking a question relating to gravity-based powers in TOME, you'll need to be more specific. If you're asking a question about physics in general, that's what the Void subforum is for.

Sorry, it's the 'dumb questions' thread - just my sense of humor.

I was playing a rogue and invested in 'Unseen Actions' but only then discovered that only normal attacks have the chance of not breaking stealth - any talent like Flurry auto-breaks it regardless of unseen actions. This makes it far less effective. Is this works-as-designed? The in-game description of unseen actions is in that case very misleading.

Ah, I tested it and found that it seems to work for other talents, probably because each attack in flurry is counted as an 'action' and so it tends to reliably break stealth. Nevermind.

How do I get the resource (health/stamina/etc) bars to show up on my UI, instead of the ugly left panel situation I have now?

Edit: I figured it out: minimalist UI, although my resource bars aren't as pretty as many that I see in screenshots.

How do I get the nice UI with resource bars at top left, and minimap at top right? Right now I have the ugly left panel with map and char info.

Yes. I believe that it is "z" by default, and it can be changed in the keybinding menu.
