Alright, as we know there is a notorious bug with Psiblades that can cause you to permanently lose stats if you unequip a +wil or +cun mindstar while Psiblades are active. However, this can theoretically be avoided by turning off psiblades before you ever unequip mindstars or swap weapon sets.
My question is, are there any other, external ways that this glitch can be externally caused? For instance, if an enemy Disarms you while you have psiblades active can you suffer permanent stat loss? Are there any events or situations where the game may unequip your mindstars without your intention? Or will you 100% never suffer stat loss as long as you turn off psiblades before you unequip mindstars or swap sets?
Reason I'm asking is that there seems to be some disagreement on whether or not turning off psiblades when necessary makes mindstar usage safe.

Re: Question regarding Psiblades glitch
Disarming would probably do it, I can't think of anything else... There are a few (artifact) items that forcibly unequip and re-equip themselves but I don't think any Mindstars do that.
Re: Question regarding Psiblades glitch
Does disarming actually remove the bonusses you recieve from equiped weapons?
Could I be disarming annoying mages to reduce their spellpower??

My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

Hmmm, just checked, doesn't seem so.
Re: Question regarding Psiblades glitch
Maybe those invokable "adapt to the other mindstar for the synergy bonus" mindstars?

Re: Question regarding Psiblades glitch
I'm pretty sure that using wyrm's, epiphanous, and resonating mindstars forces you to unequip/re-equip them to ensure the set bonus activates properly.
