[1.0.1] Stairs in Assassin's Lair (unknown tunnels) vanish

I killed the Assassin Lord, and the stairs appeared. When maelstrom ended, in which the stairs were located, they vanished. I had to recall out, and I hope the merchant still greets me in Last Hope!

This is reproducible. Killing boss during maelstrom gives you no stairs. There might be other maelstrom bugs of a similar nature.
