Waiting for the News window to load is extremely important.

haha, yeah, i'm reading through the change list right now. Most of the stuff sounds cool, although i wish they didn't nerf solipsists so much, i love them just they are in 1.0. I also wish they had kept dream-forge as a class talent, solipsists already spread their generics pretty thin as it is.

Solipsists are still plenty strong. I just won with one the other day who didn't even unlock Dreamforge at all.

What's so great about Dreamforge anyway?

Yeah, i'm using a solipsist to unlock oozemancers right now. I didn't hit level 30 until i went east so i guess i have to go back west to do the sludgenest. They definitely seem pretty strong still, i thought the conversion decrease on solipsism would effect them more but it's still a powerful category.

And i'm not sure what's so great about dream-forge, it just seemed like forge armor was a must no-brainer for somebody trying to clear the game with the massive armor bonus it gives, although now it's a lot more negligible. I imagine you could create a build based on the sustain in that category combined with discharge to just stand still and deal lots of damage, but i'm not sure, i've never bothered to level either up a whole lot.

So what races would you guys suggest for oozemancers, i've been messing around with them and i was thinking thalore or yeek would be great. Thalore seem a little repetitive since they already get disease immunity, and yeek seem like they would have incredibly low health.

Yeeks make poor Oozemancers, actually. Their fragility means they have a risk of dying before they can really capitalize on the brokenness of the class. As for their racials: Dominant Will is decent, but Oozemancers can kill anything it works on with a glance. Unity is worthless: Ooozemancers will naturally become immune to confusion with Indiscernible Anatomy, don't care about silence (they can't even use runes!) and pump Will and Cun enough that the mental save bonus doesn't do enough (not for the generics you're spending on it, anyway). Quickened will just leave you hitting '5' more often while you wait for your abilities to cool down. Wayist isn't all that impressive to begin with, and it's pretty redundant with the army of oozes you'll have at your command.
