Im doing some test playing with skeleton arcane blade: focus on earthen misiles + arcane combate: so magic and cunning first
what prodigies are a good option? I feel the class is a bit of a glass cannon,, specially with crowd situations. If the dmg done by weapons isnt so important the arcane might prodigy seems pointless. Also saves are pretty high except mental.
Arcane destruccion ?is there any reason to lvl it above 1? the dmg doesnt increase... only physical power. And by lvl 36 the 120 extra dmg doesnt seem to be so important.
Lvl 36: greater weapon focus: i feel this must be in the build.(this means pumping dex and not const) but im not sure about step up (if i take never stop running there is no need): what about true grit and blinding speed?
the aegis line with skeleton has GREAT GREAT synergy: add to that 3 lvls in healing light from escorts... not bad at all, also 3 infusions: shield shield and teleport.
If arcane destruction isnt so important, then criticals arent so important, and if so, what weapon to use? a staff for a huge spellpower bonus?

Crit chance is still very important, you really can't go wrong with it. Arcane destruction even at level 1 outputs tons of damage and you get the usual regular damage boost from crits. Arcane destruction is also your only real method of doing AOE damage, which helps soften up crowds of enemies to expediate the murder process.
Did you take a weapon tree? If you linked your character it'd give a better idea of where you're coming from.
Skele AB seems like it'd be lacking severely in mobility. I can see never stop running helping, but step up also makes a big difference to to the speed at which you navigate the battlefield. If you're already unlocking the tree, it's worth it imo.
Weapon damage starts off to be secondary, but by the time you get a rocking crit chance, crystalline focus, greater weapon focus and respectable weapons it starts being a significant proportion of your damage. At this point arcane might is pretty solid, though not necessarily must-have. Particularly nice for duel wielding.
When I played AB I took crafty hands first (ABs benefit a lot from +all stats, which makes this a solid choice), followed by arcane might. I probably would have picked giant leap or never stop running second if I hadn't felt comfortable with movement infusions plus what I had access to via items and talents.

Re: Arcane blade skeleton notes and doubts
This might be a bit noobish but how does a Arcane blade get Battle Tactics? I found how to unlock stone tree but don't know how to find this one.
Re: Arcane blade skeleton notes and doubts
Now that I pay attention I notice how old this thread is. Likely the tree in question was removed from the class since then?
-Edit- then the awkward moment you realize you looked at someones join date not the post date.... sigh. Now that I am done making a fool of myself my first question still stands.

They still have it, it's one of the grey collaped trees in the class skill list. You need to spend a category point to unlock it.
