[1.0.1] Alchemist's golem vanished

Shalore Alchemist in Normal Adventure.

The process:
1. An alchemist dies.
2. (golem) Self-destruction
3. (Alchemist) Revived in Eidolon Plane

The condition:
- The golem vanished.
- The golem seems to be full of life. (by top icon)
- [F2]key cannot change the golem.
- When I push Refit Golem, the dialog for changing the golemname displays.
- When I push Invoke Golem, nothing happens. (the golem still vanished)

yup. same here. Happened in the sandworm pit. There was also some weird behavior where I got stuck in a collapsed tunnel and couldn't switch places with the golem, nor move from the space that I was in.

This same thing has happened to me. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

I died in the Sandworm Caves due to cave in.
I took control of my Golem and it died in combat.
I went to spirit world and revived. When I revived in the world he was missing.
I've tried to Invoke Golem and he won't appear. I tried to Refit Golem and it just goes to his equipping menu.

I have the exact same problem. I am on the Demo of the game also.

Just so you know, this game doesn't have a demo; it's free. You are playing the full version, and although donators get a few extras it is perfectly plausible to enjoy and beat ToME without ever paying.

This bug doesn't seem to be fixed.

I died in the Old Forest, got resurrected in that plane (get back option). The golem seems to be alive at 100%, but is not at my side or anywhere around. I can't call a new Golem via Refit Golem, nor can I Invoke Golem (call it to my side). I have no golem self destruct option, thus, can't kill it either.

I relogged, zoned within the dungeon and zoned in and out of the worldmap. Nothing seems to bring that golem back.

This means, my alchemist is screwed and I cannot proceed playing this wonderful game. :cry:

Fixed means fixed for next release. I'm afraid you might have to start a new character (though if you come on IRC some people might be able to guide you into a way to fix it).

Any chance for a quickfix?

I would so love to continue playing TOME.

Maybe there is a way to fix it outside patching? Anyone knows how?

Put this file in your add-on folder, rename it to tome-golem.teaa
Tell me if it works.
(this is a copy of the patched file from the svn version)

Unfortunately, it does not. Thanks for trying though.

I tried zoning and Refit Golem after using your fix. But does not make it work.

It won't fix your current file, because addons won't apply to a game in progress. It should prevent the bug from happening on future characters, though.

Ah, very nice. I wasn't very far into the game anyway. I start a new alchemist then and hope for the best.

I made a fresh alchemist and died - for testing purposes! ;-)

Still the same bug. After getting resurrected my Golem is at 100% health, but not anywhere around and no way of get it back.

Am I the only one playing an alchemist or does no one else have this problem?
