Highlighted/Selected Text Nearly Unreadable

I just downloaded ToME, but there's a minor issue that's making it hard to play and enjoy. Whenever I select an option in any menu, the text black with a strange green highlight, and it's virtually unreadable. I've tried both with and without text antialiasing, and that didn't help. I'm running t-engine 1.0.0.

Any ideas what may be causing this, and how I might go about fixing this?

Odd. Running on Windows? Try messing around with all the stuff under Video Options (some require restarting the game) and see if that helps. Check for up-to-date drivers. That's all I've got.

Ah, it turns out it was OpenGL Shaders. I should have played around with the settings some more. Thanks for the help.
