You aren't supposed to start with Restoration! :P

Doh, forgot to remove the Rebound point I was using for testing.

Force Punch does seem a bit odd. But Staff Combat is also a generic and much more offensive than Force.
Force Punch does have a visual, it is very fast, I might change the trail colour though.
I put it in so that Archmage have another option for starting attack spells. Also it is good if you want to be a GeoElementist, as you can't kill things with Stoneskin.

LOL at Lifebind. I guess I'm missing a /10 in there. Vitalise would have the same issue.

Elementists will be getting 12 new Blight element talents next update. :mrgreen:

Ooh sounds good. But, what I meant by neither have restoration I mean neither HAVE it. Its not in their list of talent trees at all with the current release, locked or unlocked.

I am curious though, how will Blight damage fit with an Elementalist??

You (should) get the Restoration category as reward for a quest. Think Fungus category.

According to the lore in the Scintillating Cave, Blight is a new element in the world. One that is changing the other elements.
So I'm going to add in a Corrupted Elements category, which will allow you to access corrupted versions of existing elemental talents. I'm hoping to get a new talent appearing in each elemental category, to enhance the corruption of elements flavour. I don't want it to be too much like a Corrupter, which uses more pure Blight effects. The new talents should fit in with the mechanics of each element as well. eg: the Storm category will have a talent called Blightning, which is like lightning bolt, but with blight damage and can daze the target, so it can trigger Hurricane. Wildfire talent will work with Burning Wake... etc.

Okay, I made an error in the chat file, so nobody gets the Restoration category. :P

I might add it as a locked category as well, so she unlocks it for you.

Finished Corrupted Elements category and extra talents.
Now my addon is too big to be attached to the forum. :lol:

I guess I'll transfer some stuff from the overload...

Updated!

Contains a few bugfixes (restoration category comes to mind)
New Corrupted Elements category: For Elementists who are intrigued by this new Blight element.
Better Compatability with other addons: Only 4 files are left in the overload, unfortunately 2 of them are Actor.lua and Archery.lua.

time warp needs spell effects :(

You could probably use the one the explosion from destabilize uses, that would be appropriate. Or echoes from the past.

Ooops. Sorted.

Maybe I should merge Alchemist+ into this one, grab that Necromancer expansion and the Illusionist class, code up an Enchanter/Hedge Wizard and call it a sorceror pack?
