[1.0] Why don't I qualify for windtouched speed?
I've deliberately built an antimagic slinger in order to get windtouched speed, and I have put 20 generic points in total in antimagic and in fungal growth. Why then is it not available as a prodigy?
Do passive equilibibrium talents perhaps not count since they don't strictly speaking "use equilibrium" as the description says? I've spent the whole game (roguelike no less) building for this so I'd like to know what's happening.

the code is: knowRessource(self, "equilibrium", 20), so that looks like you need 20 talents that actually use the resource, so passives wouldn't count if I'm right.
Re: [1.0] Why don't I qualify for windtouched speed?
Aura of Slience, Antimagic Shield, Manaclash and whatever the 4th fungus talent is, should work.
My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

no idea.

Make a char, level him up via console and test it that way? It's faster than waiting for a reply.jenx wrote:anyone else know?

A quick glance at through the code for knowRessource() reveals that sustains do count toward the total. The wild-gift/antimagic and wild-gift/fungus trees break down thusly:
Counts toward requirement
Counts toward requirement
- Aura of Silence
- Antimagic Shield
- Mana Clash
- Wild Growth
- Sudden Growth
- Resolve
- Fungal Growth
- Ancestral Life
Re: [1.0] Why don't I qualify for windtouched speed?
Ah... don't you start with a point in resolve, though? Then you can hit up the latter three AM talents and wild growth to qualify, if you were going for minimum point investment.
Re: [1.0] Why don't I qualify for windtouched speed?
You're right. 20 points, then, but only the top list's talents count.
Re: [1.0] Why don't I qualify for windtouched speed?
But there is another way I discovered: using Harmony and Call of the Wild, as I find AM just too difficult for archers. There are no passives in Call of the Wild, so that helps. The problem with AM/Fungus is that the best talents are passives.
