Mute option for chat?

I'm not sure if it's there, but it seems like it'd be a good thing to include in the chat's functionality... ability to mute (filter out messages) individual people. S'generally a good idea to include with any online chat capability, really.

Feels like adding this would be encouraging the idea that chat will be bad. I have faith in the tome community as a whole that chat won't become so hostile we will feel compelled to shut individuals up...

But maybe my expectations are too high?

Sounds like your expectations are rather low if you think a mute feature will lead to worse in-game chat. :P

More ignore than mute, actually. My brain was just kinda' fried and didn't remember that's the more used term for the feature I was thinking about. Just a way to filter out particular folks, should you feel like it. Maybe someone's spamming items (perhaps good naturedly, but I've seen it annoy some folks) and you don't want to see it from that individual. /ignore <name> and you're set! Something like that.

Ah jeez...maybe a confirmation before linking items would be a good idea too. I don't usually play online (shoddy connection through my phone), but when I do I constantly accidentally link crappy items I'm trying to transmog (usually hitting up and enter transmogrifies, except online requires 2 ups and enter). And then I often feel the need to apologize or explain why I'm linking a white cloak or gloves. Ugh. Sorry.
