I'm a 29 year old gamer from Finland. I have enjoyed few roguelikes in the past (Nethack/ADOM/Dwarf fortress) and I also enjoy playing playstation 3 games as well as Triple-AAA titles like Skyrim/Borderlands 2 etc. I like to play my roguelikes with tileset if possible.
Few days ago I checked one of my favorite Youtube lets play -maker 51ppycup and he had uploaded Tome 4 "lets play" with a dwarven berserker. I started watching those videos and also downloaded the game myself and fired it up.
Ever since I have loved every second I have spend with my dwarven berserker. Most roguelikes hit the players in the beginning like a truck but this one seems to hold perfect balance without being too easy or too hard. Maybe I also have the positive psychological effect from the Old RPG -tileset which makes the game look like a SNES-game and more welcoming to a new player. Anyway I have already made donation to the game developer, because his game sucked me in so efficiently

I have spoiled many roguelikes for myself by reading spoiler, manuals and beginners guides. I would like to try to avoid that with this one.
People I like to thank:
Nicolas, the guy who have made Tome.

Daftigod, maker of the old RPG -tileset. Without him I might have not played the game at all. http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=31310
