Cursed Aura Prodigy?

Okay, the cursed items and curse bonuses are pretty nice and cool except for one slight issue...

They soak up generics like nothing else, and don't really fit into the theme of the tree they're built into. I'm also told the entire tree is kind of buggy, so my thought is that you simply turn the basic effects of the Cursed Aura tree into a Prodigy or a similar idea, one that unlocks new layers of cursed item power/curses as your character levels, or with a stat or something. It makes the Cursed Aura tree more accessible to both cursed and doomed, and makes it more than just a small generic sink when you pick it up in the graveyard.

I can confirm Misfortune and Shrouds work as intended (or did on my b43 winner, at any rate). I could not comment on the other effects.

They are a bit steep cost-wise. Part of that issue is a finding a benefit from the tree with fewer than nine points in it. For some builds, you may find the curses that justify the expense. I suspect there are a couple curses that would not be worth it for five generics. Those may just need to be revisited before any change in investment occurs.
