I just started playing this game and I have played two different dwarf characters, but each time I have been in the middle of fighting random orcs and rats when a few of my hotkeys grey-out and I can't use some of my skills.
I check my inventory and my sword and shield are missing! What the hell happened to them?
It doesn't look like they have durability. Even if they did I would expect them to last longer than level 2....
This is kinda frustrating.

Re: Weapons Disappearing?
Did you press the switch weapons button? I have it bound to x, not sure what it would be for you.

q by default.
My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.
Re: Weapons Disappearing?
It is quite possible that I have been hitting q by mistake. If so, where would my weapon go? I don't remember seeing it in my inventory.
PS - I will try hitting q on my last save when I get home and see what happens. Hopefully I get my stuff back. lol

Re: Weapons Disappearing?
When I play on my laptop I do this all the time by accident. I should probably change my keybinding...
Re: Weapons Disappearing?
In the inventory screen there is a second tab

[tome] joylove: You can't just release an expansion like one would release a Kraken XD

Re: Weapons Disappearing?
One does not simply see a second tab at 2:00 in the morning.
Thanks guys.
I would think that switching weapons in combat is pretty significant. When it first happened to me, the first thing I did was look back in my combat log to see if I got disarmed. I wonder if it would be a good idea to add to the combat log. It would provide feedback for noobs like me and I can see it being useful for more experienced players as well.
