[RC4] Solipsism and shattering

#1 Post by yabluchko »

it seems, shatter damage check on stoned targets uses only hp, but not effective health.

my solipsist with full psi was oneshotted by some orc assasin with stoning poison

Your hp is your effective health. I'm not sure it should check for psi...But then again stoning seems to be troublesome.

This isn't a bug. There's another talent that also checks straight health.

Solipsists aren't gods they just think they are and they have a couple of hard counters in the game, getting shattered is one of them.

so.
i nave 200 hp and 700 psi, 75% damage going to psi.
orc assasin hits me for 70 dmg (17 goes to hp and 53 to psi) and i die.
no bug here.

Just because the behavior isn't what you think it should be, does not mean it is unintentional.

If you think it's bad behavior, there is an ideas forum for that where you can suggest a good suggestion to change it to.

In this particular case, I think DarkGod is iffy about petrify as a status-and anything that disables actually getting turns-anyways, so if you have a good idea of what to change Petrify to, mechanics-wise, while still making sense to be petrification, that would be even more useful.

Regardless, that means it's not really a bug.
