Clearly the roguelike that has the smallest community should win. Preferably a roguelike that is distributed on a floppy disk. Wrapped in magnets.

Wow, the apology is almost worse than the accusation. Someone else should host a poll in the future, that blog is incredibly boring.
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).

Nah, the accusation was pretty bad on its own. Really, "distributing an .exe which has been modified to directly affect the vote outcome"? That's like accusing a politician of filling the airwaves with electromagnetic signals designed to instill hatred towards his rivals in the minds of the public, then saying you were just talking about attack ads.

I dont really like to involve myself much in these things, but even in the roguelike radio with DG and Andrew Doull he had nothing good to say of T4. When Grey said DG removes consumables he says oh he kinda likes consumables. Etc. :(

He has some very nice articles on game design. But yeah, that whole poll issue is just... wrong.

Kinda sad to see, since from what my newb self has seen the RL community is one of the nicest gaming communities I've come across.

The victory post for ToME is now up: http://roguelikedeveloper.blogspot.co.u ... ke-of.html

The positive tone of the post should not be surprising - it was written by me :)

Well voting is over and I had already voted before I tried T.O.M.E 4 anyway(for Dungeons of Dredmor and FTL), so you'll have to wait for next time for my vote.

Dungeons of Dredmor was my gateway drug^H^H^H^Hgame.
