- The game option "Always add objects to hotkeys", which controls whether wielding an activateable item will automatically add a hotkey to activate the item. Uses the same internal setting name and settings filename as SVN, so your setting should carry over to RC2 when it's released.
- The ability to drop part of a stack of items from inventory. Note that, as in SVN, this only works using the "Drop" option from the main inventory dialog; dropping a stack from the 'd'rop-item dialog is still all-or-nothing.

[RC1] RC2 Backports
So I saw this and this and said, "Man, those would be really nice to have in RC1." Hence the RC2 Backports addon, which adds some pre-RC2 SVN user-visible features to RC1, in particular:
"Blessed are the yeeks, for they shall inherit Arda..."
Re: [RC1] RC2 Backports
How about a knockback fix backport, since it drastically alters the game in daikara, and may make certain builds infeasible? (Dox mage gravity, doomed force of will tree, etc.)
Re: [RC1] RC2 Backports
Arena bug - crash on winning. this would be an awesome hotfix too. Thanks for your work zizzo!

You mean this? [checks SVN log] Looks like r6133; that's in the C code, so an addon can't fix it.omni wrote:How about a knockback fix backport, since it drastically alters the game in daikara, and may make certain builds infeasible? (Dox mage gravity, doomed force of will tree, etc.)

Re: [RC1] RC2 Backports
Thank you for the effort zizzo, but it locks up the engine after loading a new character in the arena. kind of in a weird way too... everything seems to load fine, but at the very end of the loading routine the left side of the HUD disappears and no movement is possible. have to kill the process since you can't get to the menus. I saw dg mention that the new version should be out within days so there's no real need to bang your head against the wall trying to fix this, but again, thanks anyway!

Re: [RC1] RC2 Backports
Note to self: just because you can't test winning the arena doesn't mean you can't (or shouldn't) test starting in the arena. [sound F/X: forehead repeatedly striking desk] The version I just uploaded does at least successfully get through creating and starting an arena character.
