I figured the table would get too large. Perhaps we could have the three most recent? But that's a fair few extra characters. It's a wiki, not a personal blog, so feel free to edit it.

Maybe each class could have a page of its own. What do you think?
<darkgod> all this fine balancing talk is boring
<darkgod> brb buffing boulder throwers
Sure, we could have wiki pages for anything and everything really.
But I am interested more in the overall strength of all the combos and the specific relative strengths of classes and of races, hence the hall of fame concept.
So, if somebody wins in roguelike with a combination that is done before only in adventure mode, is he allowed to replace the adventure one? In my opinion that'd be a good idea to keep this page updating/competitive.
In a similar way, you could give priority to the winners with the most lives left at the end in adventure mode. In other words, the idea is that if you manage to beat the game with only 2 deaths and the previous hall of fame character with that race/class combo had more deads, you can replace him.
edit: and to further make sure that everyone will always have a chance to get into this hall of fame page, you could further give priority to characters that beat the game while below level 50. That way, even when eventually the table is full of roguelike wins in every race/class combo, it'll still be possible to get in it. Plus, it'd be quite cool to see what the minimum level for beating the game is.
So: worst < ... < best would be with my idea:
Adventurer win with 0 lives left when level 50 < ... < Adventurer win with 7 lives left when level 50 < Adventurer win with 7 lives left when level 49 < ... <<< Roguelike win when level 50 < Roguelike win when level 49 < ... < Roguelike win when level 10.

That's a good idea too. I'm not sure I'll have time to keep updating it, but I"m sure people who win will want due recognition, so they can add themselves in.
Perhaps then if we have the top three winners, using these criteria, that would be nice.

I added you in for old time's sake! And also, our first b43 arcane blade winner. Still no paradox mage winner for ages. I've been trying, and the class is UP badly.
