... a reaver already has combat training (Note, this is the tree with stuff like thick skin, armor training, and combat accuracy.) unlocked, to start. The last hope fellow will only sell you training if you don't have the tree at all, iirc.

Are immovable opponents immune to the daze on repulsion?

What resets a staff of warding? I carry one on the off-set. I can move around, exchanging back & forth - all ready to go. Yet when I swap to it in the middle of battle it always seems to be in some stage of cooling down. Usually part way through a cool down.

Taking it off resets it. You need to keep something equipped for it to stay off cooldown.

This is not entirely true. It's letting me exchange to my main weapon, hit & exchange back without reseting.

Played around a bit further. It will continue cooling down in the offset without resetting & will not reset until the point it comes off cooldown. This creates a magic point where you can change to it just as it's come off cooldown & before it's reset. So buggy behaviour I guess. Also when I use it it takes 25 turns to cooldown where reset from switching is 16(or 17 perhaps), that normal?

How come my fungal growth isn't triggering off heals? It's passive, so it doesn't need to be turned on, right? I tried with an infusion and nature's touch, no regeneration.

You have to have the first sustain in the tree active in order for it to trigger.

Thanks. So, I take it the third ability also requires the sustain to be on to work? In retrospect that makes perfect sense but I think it could stand to be a little clearer in the description.

All sustained abilities need to be activated in order to work. It would be silly to repeat it over and over again. I can't remember, but I think sustained abilities are covered in the tutorial.

But in this case, a sustain must be activated in order for other, passive talents to work. The description should mention that.

Right. So if the tree is ABCD where A is sustained and BCD are only functioning while A is sustained, they should say "while A is active" in their descriptions.

What's the default key binding for the pause menu?
I accidentally bound it to mousewheel down and it's really messing me up.

I think you mean the menu that comes up when you hit Esc, so if that guess is right, then it's Esc.

Why can't I login to my online profile in b43? I just tried by login/password on te4.org (not the forum) and it works fine. Any time I try in b43, though, I get "Login failed! Check your login or password or try again in a few moments." I am posting from the same computer, so it's not a firewall or lack of net connection.
