[b42] Hanging when in the background w/ no input for a while

Not sure if the same thing happens in full screen mode when you're alt+tabbed out of it, this happens to me in windowed mode.

Sometimes I'll have ToME opened and running, but I'll be doing something else. Pretty consistently, if I leave it alone without any input for 30-45 minutes, the game will become completely unresponsive and I need to end the process. Usually it's just a black screen that won't do anything.
