Quest-dependent Prodigies should be unlocked in the ID
The reasoning is the same as for Lichform: there's no point in requiring a quest that's impossible to complete.

Based on the code (which I could easily have misread), it looks like non-Archmages are allowed to get Aether Permeation. Is this WAD?

Why would aether permeation be limited to archmages?

Prodigies aren't class specific. Some certainly favor certain classes, but anyone can get any prodigy, in theory.

Yeah they are even specifically made to allow some weird builds

I made a lichform necro in the ID with the idea that it would be easier to get to 85% arcane than 85% all resists. Aether Permeation does not have the "25% and planetary orbit" thing in green, though, even when I have 25% arcane resist.

Odd builds are precious to me
My two favorites were archmages, ones goal was to not touch storm/nova/flame trees at all (named Unstable Aquifier), and this most recent one is never to cast a single spell (though I will use built-in spells like eel-skins lightning..) Every class tree for archmage is spell related so he's at level 18 with every class point he's ever got sitting unspent 
And to absolve myself of coolness: this is all on exploration mode, and ol Melee Magician has died over a hundred times before level 20
Still a proud achievement to kill stuff like Subject Z and other bosses as a 2H sword-swinging archmage though, no matter how many deaths it took before I managed it

I think you can actually go into planetary orbit in the ID, so there's no need to unlock it. All the other quest-dependent prodigies had the quest listed in red too. It's a bug, I think.

Actually, never mind. It was a problem with my install, which I fixed.
