Buying rune slots with cat. points needs better explanation

It wasn't until I started reading these forums that I realized you could even get more than 3 rune/inscription slots. When you mouse over your category points on the level-up screen it only says they can be used for taking a new category or improving an existing one. Maybe buying rune slots could be done on the level-up screen itself?

On this same vein, where the flip do you add more inscription slots?

I checked the wiki, no mention of it... nothing in the FAQ either? I know they can be bought with category points, but no where on the level up screen does it explain how or where you go to add a new slot..

Hopefully you got an answer a few days ago, but the only way I know to do it is fill up all current rune/inscription slots and then try to add a new rune/inscription and it'll ask which you want to replace, plus an additional option towards the bottom for "Buy new slot with category point"..
