World Map

#1 Post by Row »

Is there any world map of Maj Eyal? I searched for an hour but found none. So I created one myself:

http://viamia.wz.cz/MajEyal.png

Color coding:
brown - towns
green - tier 1 locations
yellow - tier 2 locations
red - later locations
pink - random locations
cyan - bodies of water

However it is only what level 1 character can see, as I am unable to progress any further. Can it be made complete? It is nice to see where everything is, or at least can be.

There is a small one in gfx/shockbolt/terrain/eyal-world.png (used for the rotating world)

That file, and even the folders don't exist, neither in game folder nor in user profile folder.

game/modules/tome-0.9.42.team is a renamed zip, and contains the named file.

Thanks now I see. But this does not show any dungeon/town locations. It just shows my map covers about 1/3 of the whole world.

Unless it was changed recently, some of those dungeons are randomly placed (such as the Hidden Compound) and do not in fact always show up where your map has them.

That's why the labels are color-coded. Randomly placed dungeons are pink.

It's pretty big 1.5mb.
Looks great, however I'm missing what the numbers mean, and the texts cannot be read, they always contain "..."
