Spooking the populace, undead style...
So I decided to stroll into Derth after a quick jaunt over to the Trollmire. Unfortunately, being the fashion-conscious sort of animated skeleton that I am, I had chosen to wear this nice new cloak I found while fighting Bill the Troll. When I returned, I remembered just a second too late, right after clicking ">", that I was revealed in all my beautiful bony glory. I switched to my Cloak of Deception immediately upon entering, but apparently the entire town was watching the entrance with some sort of group Arcane Eye, because not a single store would open for me. I later cleared it of the gwe..ghy...wind thingies and cleared the peak, saving the town. But the doors still won't open for me. Is this permanent or will the restock change (after Dreadfall) make me welcome again? I'd really like to get the Brotherhood quests from there, especially the final reward.

You can probably (probably) fix it by deleting the zone file in your character's save folder and then re-entering the town... this forces the level to regenerate, which generally fixes those kinds of problems. If you feel like fixing it, anyway. Other than the life binding emerald there's not much in derth once you've got the generic points...

Sorry about taking so long to reply. I died, then started working toward a solipsist. Thanks. I'll try that next time.

Where is this save file? I'm having the same problem.
Re: Spooking the populace, undead style...
You'd be looking for a ..\T-Engine\4.0\tome\save\<character_name>\<zone-name>.teaz. Where exactly the folder is can vary a bit by OS, but a system wide search for "T-Engine" should find the thing. You want to delete the specific zone file, not anything else. Preferably while you're on the world map... I'm not even entirely sure what happens if you nuke the thing while you're still in the town in question.
Vista, it'd be something like "C:\Users\<Username>\T-Engine\4.0\tome\save\<character_name>\". The rest I can't recall at th'mo.
