Where can I get older versions of ToME 2.x?
I've always been a fan of the ToME 2 mods, but even after tracking a few down, they don't seem to be working. My only conclusion is that they must not be compatible with 3.2.5. Does anybody know where I could get an older version, most specifically 2.3.0? Also...is anybody maintaining the mods?

I don't think anyone's maintaining any mods other than Theme.
I *think* 2.3.5 should be compatible with all the modules, but I'm not sure. Older versions can be gotten on The Fury's Angband mirror:

The list seems to be a little incomplete though.

IIRC module support was indeed broken in 2.3.5 -- the code was generating incorrect paths for loading files. My fixes were never accepted into any released version IIRC, but someone accepted them into the CVS version.
You can see the diff here, if you're up for applying the patch yourself:

Re: Where can I get older versions of ToME 2.x?
Huh...maybe the mods I found are bad, then. I keep getting errors, like,
"Cannot access the 'C:\Users\Shin Majin\Downloads\tome-235-win\lib\mods\adamant\file\news.txt' file!"
"The 'lib' directory is probably missing or broken."
"Perhaps the archive was not extracted correctly."
No matter what mod is used, it always involves news.txt or news2.txt.
If it matters, I found the mods at http://zip.rlgclub.ru/lib.php?d=ToME%20 ... &s=n&o=asc
EDIT: Lolswooshed. Regardless...I haven't a clue how to apply patches. Is it easy? I have trouble even compiling things.

I am not seeing that list anymore. Does anyone?
Does no one have a backup of these mods, anywhere?
