This is now the second time I've gotten this item, a book title "Ancient Tome titled 'Gems and their uses'". The first time, I'm not sure where I found it, and I didn't notice the text pop up when I found it. This time, though, I noticed what looked like a big quest update notice pop up, but the quest didn't show up in my journal. In the message log, it said I should take it back to the alchemist in the Sunwall. I did, but he didn't react to it. Looking through the forums, I've seen a few people note that they found it and it had no description and didn't do anything for them. Some said they dropped it and picked it back up and it triggered the quest. I dropped mine and picked it back up and... nothing. Not even a repeat of the notices I got originally. Do I need to finish some other stuff in the Far East before I can do this? Is there a level limit I may have passed? Is this a bug?

Please delete this. While it didn't update my journal with a quest, I did find that I was talking to the wrong person. I should have been talking to the jeweler, not the alchemist. Sorry.
