Escort drowned rather than fight

So a silly little escort fighter decided to hang back 6 steps from the portal because of a rat near it. Whilst I went and dispatched the rat he stood perfectly still.... in a lake. By the time I returned to him he drowned.

I preferred it when they were suicidal for battle :( Now they really are just dull and pointless quests.

They're never pointless if they give you stuff!

I personally find it annoying when the spellcasters among them friendly-fire you in the back.

Yeah, I got killed by a Loremaster recently. Well technically someone else landed the final blow but it was the Mind Sear to the back of the head that took most of my hit points.
