Scrolling boundaries

#1 Post by lukep »

With the new UI design, it is possible for the interface elements to cover up parts of the battlefield, especially around the edges. One way to prevent that is giving the player the option to set boundaries to where the display can be centred.

One example of where I run into this problem is in the entrances to the Orc Prides. I have my status effects running down the right side of the screen, and if I get too many (>=10), it covers up my character. Being able to have the camera centred 30 pixels over would solve this problem.

Yes! This needs some fixing. If something with height 30 is docked at the bottom side it move the camera further to compensate. Not sure if someone uses undocked bars, might have to be taken into account, too.
