When you save the game with a mindslayer aura active, it allows you to target the spike as if it had been deactivated. This does not deactivate the sustain, take time, or drain Psi.
I believe that the player could start sustaining an aura, save the game, hit an enemy, save, hit an enemy, etc... for ever, with no time passing.

I see the same bug. I noticed, however, if you use this bug to make an attack and it kills the target, you don't seem to get credit for the kill. Easiest way to see this is go to the infinite dungeon on insane difficulty and use the bug for your first kill. Usually, you get a level after your first kill, but here you remain at 0%.

Gonna bump this because I just had a good run with a mindslayer, and it was rather annoying to have a targeting cursor pop up every time I changed zones.
Also, confirming a spike on the world map can do odd things. The one time I tried, it was a thermal aura, and I managed to cause damage to myself.
