I have a few talents that are 'sustained'.
Sometimes they are turned off for nonobvious reason.
Keen Sight is good to have in Dreadfell, but if the game turns it off now and then.....
Are there spells that turn off my sustained talents?
They should turn on themselves after the cooldown in that case.
I do have them on auto use.
Now I had a good character in Dreadfell.
I was hit by an arrow, but normal archer. Not elite archer. No need to even use my shield infusion.
I cast Rigor Mortis. I cast coldball. I have 200hp and Blurred Mortality so all is safe.
I cast another spell.
Archer dies, I get lvl up, alas there is an arrow in the air that hits me and I die too the same move.
Very strange.
But then I realise Blurred Mortality is not up.
Those 350hp was somehow turned off by the game.
I feel a bit cheated is an understatement.
Or is it actually something that is OK, that I do not understand?

There's stuff that will turn off sustains. Dreadmasters have a talent that will do it.

That must have been it.edge2054 wrote:There's stuff that will turn off sustains. Dreadmasters have a talent that will do it.
I was fighting a Dreadmaster before my death.
This is a very dangerous thing to happen.
Not sure I like it.
If you have the sustain on auto, it should go on again after the cooldown is over.
Turning off the autotrigger should not be possible.
Another unexpected failure I encountered was when I was wearing the 'undead mummy set'.
Got killed, and the life resurecting potion did not work because my 'undead' status.
Some kind of warning would perhaps be made wearing the set, or when quaffing the potion.

I can not say I counted, and I do not know the length of the cooldown of Blurred Mortality, so you might be right, even if I doubt it.
That archer came quite a while after the fight with the dreads, so unless I ran into another dread I did not see, it seems weird.
I also know for sure that Keen Sight have been turned off and I did not notice it until above ground out in the wilderness.
