Invulnerable Elven Blood Mage
Ran into an Elven Blood Mage in the Dark Crypt that went down to 0% hp, then simply wouldn't die no matter how much damage he was taking. Sometimes he would take 0 damage as if he had a damage shield on even though he didn't, and sometimes he would take full damage but his health would not go down nor would he die. I didn't get to figure out a pattern before I was killed, so this sadly won't be the most helpful bug report in the world.
Some of the talents involved include Ashes to Ashes, Rune: Shielding, and Timeless. Not sure if any of them had anything to do with it.

Re: Invulnerable Elven Blood Mage
Happened again in b38, this time with a Dwarf Mindslayer. After saving and reloading, it gives me Lua errors whenever I target the mage in question.
Re: Invulnerable Elven Blood Mage
I've had this in ancient elven ruins with skeleton mage

I had the same problem in crypt. Just avoided him.
Re: Invulnerable Elven Blood Mage
what error did you get?
[tome] joylove: You can't just release an expansion like one would release a Kraken XD

Re: Invulnerable Elven Blood Mage
I got no error, the skeleton mage just sat there on 0 hp. He didn't attack me and I couldn't dig around him. I used rod of recall and returned and he was still there! So blocked off part of ruins.
It happened during my battle with the boss there. I beat the boss, but this guy stayed - perhaps he wa a summon? I don't know if mummy lord can summon though.

Re: Invulnerable Elven Blood Mage
Still happens in b41. I've had this break at least three of my characters now, so I feel that this is a fairly serious bug. It doesn't matter what race or class my character is, but it always seems to happen with corruptor enemies. Here's the latest bug report.
It throws an infinite loop of these errors the moment I try to do anything upon reloading the game.

Re: Invulnerable Elven Blood Mage
The only talent Elven Blood Mages have that effects life is Blood Grasp.
Maybe they're getting killed before the projectile hits and the heal is preventing them from being garbage collected?

Re: Invulnerable Elven Blood Mage
Huh. I had the same problem a couple versions back. I think it was even a Blood Mage as well. I spent a good 20 minutes hurling spells, ducking out of sight, resting, repeat. It never chased me, just hung out in one corner of the room and, well, lived forever. Eventually I just gave it up as a lost cause and teleported out.
