Seeing as the competition run by Tony only accepts V & Z as possible
variants I've decided to run ToME competitions myself.
Seeing that my time(and d/l) ressources are not infinite I've made a web
section on the T.o.M.E website(http://t-o-m-e.net/) that will
automatically take care of everything.
It can(and soon will) run multiple competitions at once so if you dont
like one of the competitions there are sitll others you can try. Once a
competition is started it will accept savefiles for it until the deadline
at which point the competition will close and short results will be sent
to rec.games.roguelike.angband.
You can send dead or alive savefiles. Upon receiving them the site will
analyze them and make a detailled page for each and a character dump(so no
need to send it it's automatic).
The competition runs on a specific ToME module(available at
http://modules.t-o-m-e.net/modules/module.php?id=11) that is just ToME
with a few more extra checks and recordings(i.e it will note what level
you gained each turn or if you tried to access wizard/debug mode). It will
also enforce a few vital options(autoscum(on), stupid_monsters(off),
small/empty_levels(on)). All others options are free for the
player to change. The module cannot create new savefiles so you have to
use the ones from the competition site.
Naturally savefile scumming is strictly forbidden.

PS: This should have been announced a few days ago but the DNS was being
moved to a new host so the site sometimes didnt resolve. I waited and now
it seems to be fine, but if you still have problems acessing the site be
