Yeek Question
I've been playing Yeeks for the first time in a long while. I noticed that all Yeeks start in Irkkk, even Archmages and Celestials which usually start in Angolwen/Sunwall. Is this the intended behavior?

Re: Yeek Question
Only humans and elves get the sunwall opening, only humans, elves, and halflings get the angolwen opening. Everyone else, racial overrides.
Re: Yeek Question
Yes, Angolwen trains only halflings, humands and elves because undeads are .. well undead, dwarves never get out of their secret caverns and yeeks are mostly unheard of.
Same for the Sun Paladins & Anorithils, in the far east there are only humans & halflings so ..

Re: Yeek Question
Cool. I was just wondering how a Yeek could become an Anorithil without training at Sunwall. Not that I mind, since it's an easier class to start out with for a Yeek.

Re: Yeek Question
For halflings and dwarves, they most likely learned from the people Zemekkys was experimenting with. Undead almost certainly were one of those people.
Yeeks are a bit hairier. I don't think the Celestial classes were developed in the Far East, just that the knowledge has died out in Maj'Eyal while it has become a cornerstone of the Sunwall military. Similarly, I don't think yeeks were always cooped up on Rel, just that they sequestered themselves there after the fall of the halfling empire. It's possible for yeeks to have learned Celestial powers back then, and for the knowledge to still be floating around the Way even if it's not a common path to serving the Way. So PC Celestial yeeks wouldn't be aberrant for having access to the knowledge, but for training in it.
(I don't think this is officially canon, it's just my take on a way to reconcile PC Celestials with game lore.)

<Ferret> The Spellblaze was like a nuclear disaster apparently: ammo became the "real" currency.

When in doubt, blame time travel. Pesky paradox mages.
