tempest peak vault access

Hello,
I am having no luck in trying to get access to the vault / sealed door in tempest peak. I'd appreciate any suggestions on what I should do to get access to the vault.

Did you try using the orb of many ways?

I do not have an orb of many ways ... where would you get this orb? Is there a way to return to Tempest Peak after obtaining the orb?

It may be that the vault spawned with the door in someplace you have to dig to. Try pickaxing your way along the outside of the vault. Alternatively, it may be that you have Probability Travel active, which replaces the open door action with a teleport to the other side of the door...which, if that happens to be someplace that you can't teleport to like the inside of a vault, will just be nothing. Annoying if you like PT.

Whoops, wrong peak. (I was thinking High Peak).

But yeah, if you can't open a door it's because you have Probability Travel active. There's nothing else that I know of that could prevent a door from opening.

You are right indeed... it was the probability travel that was causing this issue. Thanks for pointing it out.
