Briagh and Arrow with Cold Damage

#1 Post by Faulks »

I have hit a bug. After battling with Briagh for a while and getting him under 50%, I started hitting him with arrows. Sometimes the arrows do Cold damage. If that happens the game freezes. I get the error:

target.lua:43: attempt to index a nil value.

At this point the game will not restart nor send the information in. I have to use the task manager to close it and start again.

The real pain is I'm not sure I can take Briagh without the arrows. Grrrr.

I can verify that it is only when Briagh "freezes" that I get the crashes. I am using Icy/Flaming arrows. If it stays on fire damage I seem to be ok. But if he freezes ... that's it. Its a real pain. Any idea how I could get around it and keep playing this game?

Sorry to be taking a while with this. I can't upload the error directly as it totally locks up the game. I am trying to attach a screenshot of the error to this message. Hopefully ....

Ha! Killed the worm anyway! Painful going. When my mana ran low I would shoot 1 or 2 arrows and then save and exit the game. That way when it crashed I wouldn't lose too much. So between exiting every 2nd shot and crashing every second or third time ... it was an epic battle! Glad he's gone. .... on to the next.

:D
