Using Rune of the Rift on an someone standing on a temporal disturbance (from another victim Time Skipped earlier) can (will?) lead to a temporal disturbance tile remaining on the map. The actors get returned all right, though, so it's mostly cosmetic.
Ghoul never existed, this never happened!

Can this destroy stairs/escort portals/orb pedestals/lava floor? If so, it could lead to rare but more serious problems.

Good point luke. These effects probably should just be disabled if the target is standing on a disturbance.
